BrazilOnGuitar says: BP's first LP follows the heavily orchestrated sound of the fifties. Evident are influences of Django Reinhardt, one of his role models. BP plays jazz standards like Stella by Starlight and compositions like Na Baixa do Sapateiro, which would remain in his repertoire for the rest of his life. There is only one composition by BP himself: Samba Triste. On his second record there would be more of his compositions. We thank Robert G. (Germany) for his translation.
